They have new cabins and they are amazing!! Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, and right on the river!
Nice little motel with kitchenette in Bella Coola. The units are duplexes.We were pleasantly surprised on arrival to see it had been nicely updated with new laminate floors as well as modern and big fridge and stove. Francine at the front desk was very nice and it was great to be able to make our own dinner and then breakfast in the morning as most of the town closes around 5pm. No condiments included except for salt/pepper/sugar and coffee/tea. If you have your own cooler of supplies you'll be set up nicely! Our unit had a double bed and a pull out sofabed.
I was traveling on a photography trip when I stayed here. With some decent management, this place would have been perfect. I can sum it up. A futon doesn't count as a bed, and why am I sleeping in my car when I have a hotel reservation? Don't say I didn't warn you.
Coming from Houston we loved the whole trip to Bella Coola. We left on the Ferry the next morning. We got eat with The Chief and he took us to see the Eagles. What a wonderful man who had enough pride we thought he was a Texan. This was 2004.
The experience was wonderful especially because of the allocated space and location but there were things that were slightly off: like the fact that there were barely any visible power jacks and that the TV wasn't working properly at first. Other than that, it's quite pretty, has mayne places to sleep and provides wifi!
