  • "Clean facilities and well maintained. Dennis the resident host and his dog Mariah were very friendly and helpful. Lots of chipmunks around to entertain, saw some beautiful rainbow trout, and watched 2 bald eagles looking to score some lunch at the lake. All the campers were polite and respectful, and that made for a fantastic camping experience. I will definitely be going back."
  • "Camp hosts were great and pretty hilarious. There's a handful of really nice spots, so plan in advance. Site 008 is exposed but has a wonderful view northwest. Clean facilities and well maintained. Dennis the resident host and his dog Mariah were very friendly and helpful especially when it came to navigating our fifth wheel into position. Lots of chipmunks around to entertain, saw some beautiful rainbow trout and watched 2 bald eagles looking to score some lunch at the lake. All the campers were polite and respectful and that made for a fantastic camping experience. I will definitely be going back.

Camp hosts we're great n pretty hilarious. There's a handful of really nice spots so plan in advance. This review we had 003 and 008 because it was last minute Father's Day weekend. ( We did Sun Mon nights n the place was fully occupied) Site 008 is exposed but has wonderful view northwest (007 is pretty sweet up above 008 with big trees). 003 turned out to be pretty alright. Back yard is a nice stream n meadow. Across is a multi camp site so it's busy) both close to good flush toilets n running water. Are experience at 8 would have been just great if it wasn't for the heavy wind). 003 is a little more protected. 008 is closer to the lake too so easy walking. Overall I would give this campsite a couple thumbs up we had a good time here and it was a last-minute deal. Some of the higher number sites around the west side are pretty nice . check them out

It was alright but they could grade some of the campgrounds a little better for water control. Our picnic area flooded pretty bad when it rained because it was the lowest ground around. Also, wish they allowed ATVs? Probably a good spot for old people and families but if you’re young and outdoorsy probably better to go to open camping in the backwoods.

Campground is clean and well maintained. Camp host was friendly, attentive & diligent. Beautiful area. 4 stars not 5 because several people did not follow the dogs on leash rule and I had one dog charge my dog which was very scary. Also, the bathroom near our site was out of order and by the end of the weekend, the outhouses got pretty full.
