The surrounding region also offers a chance to observe local wildlife, enhancing the natural experience. These sites come with full hookups (50/30 amp electric, water, and sewer connections), and some even include cable TV and Wi-Fi access. Maximum length for RVs can be up to 120 feet, accommodating even the largest rigs. For those seeking more comfort, the campground features a range of cabin rentals. For a more traditional experience, premium tent sites are also available, often with water and electric hookups. All campsites, regardless of type, typically include a picnic table and a fire ring for outdoor enjoyment. Essential on-site facilities include clean, family-style bathhouses with hot showers, which are frequently praised by guests for their cleanliness and maintenance. A laundry room is also available for guest convenience. The campground offers amenities such as a Kamping Kitchen for shared meal preparation, and propane is available for purchase. For those needing to dispose of waste, a dump station is on-site. The campground is notably pet-friendly, allowing pets at sites and in some cabins, often with designated areas for their exercise. The Bellefonte / State College KOA Holiday distinguishes itself with an impressive array of features and recreational opportunities, aiming to provide a memorable "Holiday" experience. A major draw is the outdoor swimming pool, open seasonally (typically from late May to early September), providing a refreshing escape during warmer months. For active guests, there is a dedicated bike park with various course designs for different skill levels, two well-maintained playgrounds, and a jumping pillow, all popular with children. The campground also features a stocked fishing pond (often catch and release), where registered guests can enjoy fishing without needing a license. Pricing varies depending on the type of site or lodging, time of year, and any special events (e.g., Penn State football weekends, graduation, Arts Festival, Blue-White Game) which often command premium rates and require longer minimum stays and specific cancellation policies. RV sites typically range from $70-$75 per night, with Deluxe Cabins and other lodging options having higher rates. Visitor fees apply for non-registered guests ($6 per adult, $3 per child), who must depart by 10:00 PM. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made via phone or online through the KOA website. They have decent amenities. Check out time is too early. They do not police the campground to uphold the rule they provide you in writing. It shouldn't be up to the people staying there to call the office to complain. One of the rule we noted was frequently violated was the dog leash rule. Dogs were running around at several sites without a leash; this is a dangerous situation! The day we were leaving a guy was beating his dog to get it into his camper. The dog was a Rottweiler that was in the 150 pound range., no leash of course. The other rule we noted that was violated 3 out of the five nights we stayed here was no loud music outside your camper. The whole new section of the campground could hear the music coming from the camper in the site next to our site. Many people camp to get some peace and quiet, not to listen to others' party music. At one point, there were about 20-25 people partying hard at this site, definitely alcohol and the smell of drugs in the air. We definitely won't be staying here again.

Cannot thank the staff enough for our stay. We showed up the day they opened at 9am. They were more than welcoming an knew we were coming (trying to get away from severe weather in Ohio valley) everything about this Koa was outstanding. Sites were clean and level. Water pressure was perfect. The grounds were well maintained and it was the first day of season. So you can tell the the staff takes pride in making sure it's a true koa experience! Laundry rooms were clean $2.75 per load. Although I did not use there showers they were also clean! Playgrounds were clean an our kids loved them. I even went fishing at there pond and caught bluegill an small mouth! Dog park was clean an had bags available The staff even the grounds crew were beyond friendly and helpful. The office staff helped us print out a bunch of paper work we needed with no questions asked. I cannot say enough good things about this Koa. My family have literally crossed the country staying at many koas an RV "resorts" this one is top notch if every aspect. If I could critique one thing it's that we showed up to early for the bounce pad to be going an the weather wasn't great and I didn't take any pictures to show how wonderful the property was! 5 stars A+ an many thanks to the Koa crew you are all complete rockstars an it shows via the grounds and customer service at State college / belefonte koa!!! I could go on and on!!! Highly recommend this campground!

If you wish to have a pleasant camping experience with the family, the KOA is lovely and kid-friendly. The pool is heated, and my son was excited to explore the fantastic bike park. If you like fishing, they provide a pond full of fish so your kids may enjoy the thrill of your catch. A lovely swing to unwind on while admiring the pond. The personnel is amiable and fantastic! It's kept immaculately. It's clear that they worked very hard to create the KOA so you could unwind in the summer.

So our score is representative of what we need from a campground. We don't have kids, and we are not interested in playground or bike track. Our 35 foot 5th-wheel needs an open flat spot with hookups. I booked a site not knowing the campground is on a hilltop. The road up to our assigned site was steep and narrow. We didn't fit into the site and could not get back on the road without driving through the grass and risk tipping over. Went back to the office, and we learned that fir $7.50 more, we could get a nice site. We'll, duhh, we'll take that. Once in the appropriate camping area, we were fine. With all the info needed to book a site, someone should have warned us that we were too big for what we booked. I've never been there before, how would I know? So class a or 5th wheel. Look for the site in area 101 and above. $64 a night, flat, quiet, easy in and out. Holiday KOA, do better

If you like mud this is the place for you. I mean is it too much to ask to lay stone down on the roads and especially the site. Also, gather up a little money and buy yourself a pruner to cut the low tree limbs and prune the brush back from the hookups.
