This was the first time we had done any tenting and this was a great place to start out. Tent sites are far enough apart to provide some privacy. The beach was beautiful. One night stay was $35 for a tent site.

The beautiful beach and cozy campsite overlooking the beach were a perfect for our 1 night stay over. The park itself was well maintained. Having to pay $3 for a shower that also had a sign posted telling people to " CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESS" - (the bucket and mop were outside! ) was ridiculous. The facilities before even used it had dirt and dust everywhere. We have been at other campsites where a shower is 50 cents, are spotless, and I wasn't mandated to mop it out after :) Finally - the owners. Owning and running a park isn't easy. To the female owner - It can burn you out and make you miserable but don't take it out on polite, well behaved guests!! The place itself is a hidden gem. Either take a vacation away to recharge yourself, hiring cleaning staff, or sell and retire!!

Showed up last minute with a tent and was assigned site 15b. Tent pad was large crush stone, rough for a tent, but the site was adequate nd close to the outhouses and water tap. This was once a beautiful campground but has become overgrown so unable to view the spectacular views of the ocean. Mostly had seasonal campers set up permanently. The outhouses are clean and rarely used. The seasonal campers likely have their own facilities. The showers were located at the check-in kiosk and cost $3 to use. The gentleman at the wicket was friendly and apparently stays all night at the check-in kiosk. Entry to the park is monitored, felt safe. Overall, the camping was ok, but there are far better campgrounds for tenters to stay.
