Beautiful nature area with playground and picnic areas. There are also good fishing spots and walking trails.
Found out short notice that they were checking all the dam outlets to make sure they were working. What a treat to watch each gate open one at a time. I've only been able to see it once before but that was due to flooding. The roar of the water coming out of all the gates at once was spectacular. The power of nature really humbles you at times.
