I gave it 5 stars because my maiden name is Benbow, I have never been here and not sure I ever will be able to since I'm 71 and live in Ohio. My dad was Harvey Benbow Jr. would love to find some more of the Benbow family.
Such a great experience! Great campsites, clean bathrooms and showers, a well stocked store, and lots of amenities. Rerouting our trip home so we can stay here again.
First of all, the place is pretty great. But the most notable is the care and concern of every person we encountered on their staff. By far, our best experience so far at a camp ground. The customer service of this site should be a model for KOA campgrounds. (They are usually pretty good anyway) Even the younger staff were friendly, helpful, lots of smiles! Just great! I can only give them 5 stars, but I will give them 6 smiles! 😃😃😃😃😃😃
Very nice campground. The cabin was overall clean but the loft carpet was a little dirty. Our door key card wasn’t activated at first but when I went back to get it activated the lady was very kind and helpful. The space in the cabin was very comfortable. They have excellent customer service that is solution-oriented if an issue arises.
This place is beautiful. They have roses and orchids growing everywhere, and you can smell roses when the wind blows. There is river access, and they have a restaurant down the road. Pretty impressive store and a pool and playground. A big laundry room with a lot of machines too.
