My wife and I have been here twice and it is always an enjoyable experience. Park is 21 y/o and up, so it is always nice and quiet. They have beautiful long horn cattle on the property and plenty of little kitty cats, which are adorable. The sites are larger than most modern RV parks with plenty of space to really stretch out. Water, electric, and sewer all worked flawlessly. Staff is very attentive and always out and about riding on a golf cart. Very easy to flag them down when you have a question or need something, and it's always nice to see someone going around and actually enforcing the rules of the park. When you interact with them they are super friendly and helpful. Location is great in between 2 nice wineries that you can easily walk to. Gas station across the street has a little market inside, which is also walking distance. Atmosphere is beautiful with a lot of mature trees providing shade and scenery. Park is very well maintained and clean.
Just finished a 3 night camping trip here. This RV park is very well kept overall. Bathrooms are private shower/toilet behind locking door and very clean/well stocked. There are several shady RV spots. This location is perfect to visit wineries, Luckenbach and Fredricksburg. We found the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely five star experience.
Very easy to get to (Right off 290). Shell station (Diesel fuel) literally right across the street. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fredericksburg is 10-15 minutes up the road. Right in the middle of a whole bunch of winery's. Highly recommend.
Awesome park!! We got there at dark and in the rain. Staff was SUPER helpful and organized!! Long site with Utilities placed perfectly. Bathrooms include toilet, sink and shower, neat and clean!! We could only stay one night but are already planning a trip back for a spot under the beautiful oak trees!!
I’ve left reviews on this place before, and quite frankly, I wish I could leave ten stars. This is a strictly adult RV park, so it’s really, really quiet, peaceful, and clean. Nice sized dog park for the pups and crap bag dispensers all over the park for convenience. The name of this park is not just catchy…it’s the defining characteristic of this place. Huge oak trees everywhere and trimmed perfectly as to not interfere with ingress/egress (tip…when following the park host to your site, follow them as they go…do not cut a corner). The park is situated about five minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg, so nice and convenient. However, it’s also within a five minute walk of four wineries, a farmers market, and a massive brewery. Then there’s the park personnel…while they do enforce the park rules and regulations, they are also the nicest, most genuine, and caring folks you’ll ever want to meet. You stay a few days and they feel like family…especially Stacy. We’ve stayed there several times and she is like a sister to us. We are now making multiple reservations throughout the year, as far as ten months out… This park is not heavy on fancy amenities like pickleballs courts, indoor pools, or useless helipads, but it’s fun, relaxing, social, quiet, friendly, incredibly clean….and they promote recycling. You will not be disappointed!
