I happened across this campground when I was planning to head to Lake Cleveland, but Lake Cleveland was closed. Thanks Forest Service website. This campground is free and it has bathrooms. There’s not very many camping spots. The camp spot that I stayed at was overgrown with invasive weeds. Also, it was near a trailhead so there was a lot of foot traffic, which is unfortunate when you’re trying to get away from people. Overall, it is not a bad place to stay at for free.

Nice campground with tables and fire rings in each site. Sites are roomy and spread out. Has vault toilets. Close to Lake Cleveland and pet friendly.

Small, but very nice, spot #2 let's you put a hammock over the stream. There's one dry usfs outhouse (very buggy). No fee box, which is odd. On the road to Harris Peak. Great shelter from wind. Creek is dry by July 15

Not for RV’s tried camping up at Lake Cleveland despite the natl park website saying it was open, the road was gated. Tried to make due at the only available campground which was Bennett Springs but it’s definitely tent only.
