Customer Reviews
Berlin RV Park is close to town (Berlin) with easy access to Walnut Creek, Charm, Millersburg and others. The park itself is situated along State Route 39, close enough to hear the traffic, though not too bad. You can also hear the clip clip of a buggy once and a while. The park is very clean and sites are pretty level. They are not the most spacious in most cases. Some, particularly on the ends of a row have a bit more yard space. But the water and utilities are solid. Even the WiFi is usable for some basic email etc... Firewood was good and dry and really reasonably priced. It is self service, just drop your cash in the box. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg to have a campfire. Same for ice if you need any. If you visit be sure to enjoy the more commercial areas but don't miss the opportunity to take a drive in the country. Charm Ohio is a nice drive and a wonderful taste of "Amish Country". Beautiful and peaceful countryside. We withheld one star for the spaces which are just a bit tighter than we'd like. The company around us, and in the whole park, was pleasant with nice rigs and polite guests.
This is a great campground in Holmes County, Ohio, smack-dab in the heart of Amish country. The park is family-owned. The sites are easy to access and level. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer amenities you do not often see, basketball court, volleyball court, walking trails, and a pavilion area. I only have one recommendation that I shared with them. The ground around the hookups is set with stones and very attractive. However, walking on the stones to attach water, electric, and sewer can be challenging, especially for anyone that has balance issues. My recommendation was to keep the stones, but clear the area in front of the utilities so that a person is standing on solid ground. This, however does not lesson the desirability to stay here. As Workampers in Tennessee, we are impressed with Berlin RV and highly recommend it to other campers. You will love it.
Nice clean camp. They pick the site for you. The one we had was very narrow. You couldn't use the fire ring if you wanted to. It was barely 2 feet from our door of our camper. Not safe to use, and fill your camper with smoke. Too bad you weren't asked of where you would like to camp. Several empty spots to. Not a big fan.
I enjoyed the time camping. Restrooms and showers were clean. The only thing negative was the gravel lots. There were large rocks mixed in with the gravel and I kept tripping and turning my ankle on them. Being seniors it was just too hard to walk on.
Very quiet campground that is a short drive from Berlin, Ohio. The staff is super friendly, and the grounds are nicely maintained. The sites are a little close for our liking, but the convenience to Amish Country, friendly staff, and immaculate grounds were a good trade-off. Will definitely be back!
