Just don't stay here, your money will be better spent elsewhere. After making a reservation over the phone I never recieved any email for my reservation, after arriving, while I was checking in at the front desk, another guest came in behind me stating that his bed sheets had pee on them and boot prints on his pillow cases. I was concerned from the get go after hearing that. After getting into our room, you could tell just by looking at the bed that it had been previously slept in by other guests, the bed was made but the sheets and pillow cases were wrinkled and visibly dirty, there were several hairs throughout the bedding and the sheets and pillow cases smelled like sweat! They moved us to another room, which wasn't much better, obviously house keeping is lazy because there was dust around every corner, old French fries and trash in the couch cushions. A piece a chewed gum was stuck to the nightstand!! And this room also smelled like sweat! It was hard just to get through the night knowing how dirty it was in there. The pool was right outside our room and it was a mess, the hose and cleaning supplies were all left out everywhere seems like a hazard. The breakfast was fine. What you would expect anywhere else. I would have felt better about spending my money at another hotel that at least felt clean.
Despite the fact the hotel is sandwiched between I-75 and a busy state hiway, inside the room the noise is not that noticeable in comparison to other hotels next to a freeway I’ve stayed in before. The walls are well insulated. Extremely clean room, comfortable bed, and a great shower. The young lady that checked me in (I can’t remember her name) was very polite and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will stay here next time I pass through!
Check in was quick but the receptionist was on her cell phone taking to a friend the whole time during check in. Was traveling with just my husband and receptionist failed to Ask if we needed one bed or two, common courtesy, and if only two beds were available, it should have been communicated. Had to ask where the room was and when I asked about parking on the same side of the room, she said I could park out front and use the walkway and elevator, giving the impression there was no more parking. There was a whole other lot on the same side of the room. Got to the room and found dirty rags still wet in the shower wadded up and dirty underwear behind the door. Wondered if anything else was even cleaned at that point. If we hadn't just drove 12 hrs, we would have looked for another place but we were exhausted. Made the sleeping experience uncomfortable not knowing if sheets were actually cleaned. For 119$ and only needing to be here 6 hrs for some rest, it was definitely not worth it. Very disappointed with best western.
Just stayed passing through on a road trip. Convenient location. Not very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Room fairly clean, but definitely in need of repairs/updating. NOT quiet if you have someone staying above you - literally heard children constantly running (sounded like a stampede of horses!) until after 9pm!
My husband, 4 month old baby, and I stopped here to try and get a few hours of rest during our long road trip. Location was convenient, however, when we got into the room we noticed a couple dead roaches which wasn’t super alarming until after about 45min of trying to get settled in, ROACHES started coming from out of the wood works. One even crawled in the the bed myself and baby were going to sleep in while we were literally sitting on it!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! So we pack everything up and go to try and get our money back so we can go find another hotel and the guy would not give me any of my money and said it was policy if you are in the room for an hour! but when I asked to see said “policy” he would not let me. I understand keeping the deposit but not everything. Especially since the room was unclean and had frikin roaches using it as their hangout spot! I wasn’t trying to be a “Karen” but it’s one thing to have a small petty reason to want a refund but roaches everywhere including the bed was completely unacceptable! We went back and forth for a good 20min before he finally called for the manager. When she came the employee tried to play it down and said I wanted a refund because of some bugs. Oh noooo buddy not just any kind of bug but frikin roaches!! She ended up getting a hold of someone and finally gave me only some of my money back but not all of it! They kept the deposit and a part of the actual cost of the room! DO NOT i repeat DO NOT stop here to stay unless you don’t mind sharing your space with roaches and getting ripped off. This was the WORST experience I’ve ever had at any hotel or motel.
