Customer Feedback:
Best Western Beacon Inn is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that combines comfort, affordability, and convenience in one of Michigan's most beautiful areas.
Good hotel for the money! Can't beat the price during the peak summer season in the area. Off-season is great, too. We stay here almost every time we're in the area. The pool is great. Strong bleach smell. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable.
We stay here every year. We love how spacious the rooms are. The pool and hot tub are both very nice. The hotel is located close to many amenities like restaurants. Lake Michigan is less than a 10 minute drive.
Not a great stay. When we there, only one person was working. I waited for quite a while to check in. Staff were friendly enough. Room was $280 a night and wasn’t worth the price AT ALL. The room ended up being in another building that was drive away from the main building (where check was). Meaning, we had to drive around the corner to get to our actual room after checking in at the main office . Hotel was on the second floor so we had to walk up two flights of stairs. We didn’t know that until we were assigned that particular room. There was no elevator because stairs were outside. Had to walk to main building for breakfast in the morning and to use the pool (which was small and filled with people) The breakfast was scarce. Very little choices. Ended up not eating and going to a breakfast place a few blocks away. Not good. Wouldn’t stay here again. Do not recommend
Room was a bit dated but was clean and comfortable,so for the price,I'm happy. Not a far walk into main town/tourist area but not something I'd want to do everyday/night. Good breakfast selection included with reservation and very friendly, helpful staff.
We stayed here for the night while traveling through Grand Haven. My boyfriend made the reservation so I'm not sure on the price/cost comparison but the room was nice, the staff was friendly, there is a pool although we didn't use it but saw other's enjoying it, free continental breakfast included. No complaints, would stay again.
