We plan to return in a few months to the same area and plan to stay there again. They had a variety of breakfast items and everything we had was good. There was nothing wrong with our stay there.
Hadn't even arrived yet, they called extremely rude, stating they couldn't charge my card. When I reserved room on Booking, it was no prepayment needed and pay at property. After trying to explain that I was only 2 hours away and was going to pay cash, she hung up on me. I didn't waste my time even going there, got another motel down the road. I should've paid attention to the reviews and never even reserved a room. Horrible customer service.
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Cades Cove. The location was perfect. The room was clean, but the air conditioner was very loud. ( A maintenance man said that they were replacing many of the AC units.) The staff was friendly and helpful. A small problem that I had was handled quickly. I would definitely stay here again.
Awesome staff, the front receptionist was so calm and patient very kind and pleasant. General appearance 4 stars. Room toilet seat needs replaced. Late at night we noticed cockroaches.
