Best Western Crown Inn & Suites

The pillows were a strange, much smaller couch pillow shape and made sleep less comfortable than desired. The front desk was staffed with a very pleasant to deal with person every time I visited with questions or to break a bill for the vending machine.

Upon arrival, saw a sign the pool is not in service. It was the main reason we booked this hotel. Entered the room, appeared to be remodeled with a walk in shower so it is why I gave a 3 for the room but this is allegedly a no smoking room and can tell that this room may have been a smoking room at one time as I can smell smoke lingering throughout the room. Woke up this morning and still can smell the saturated smoke smell. Breakfast was standard hotel items. Beds were comfortable though.sink barely drained / found a chunk of hair on the floor in the bathroom upon arrival.

Very clean rooms, very friendly service We booked through Expedia, so our checkin was literally giving the name on file and getting the keys, and for checkout you just handout the key Very conveniently located 3/4 of the way from NYC to Toronto

We originally had 2 rooms at a nearby hotel and we decided to switch to Best Western. We are very happy we did! BW ended up being cheaper and it was much nicer too. The house keeping professional, I think Maria, made up our room so perfectly and considerately. We loved the breakfast options and liked that they had a menu of different items for different days. Yes, the pool was closed down but that didn’t affect us much. We really loved staying the week in Batavia!

Some repairs are needed. The freshly made bed had a hole in the top blanket (relayed to counter staff), molding was off of the wall near the bedside table, one wall socket cover was broken, desk chair recline was not adjustable, lamp shades are filthy and couch had stains on the right side cushion.
