Best Western Milton Inn

The staff is all very friendly and helpful, and the location is great to downtown Blairsville. You can very easily and safely walk to all of the restaurants and shops in town square from the hotel. The rooms were a bit dated and not the cleanest. I saw a few cockroaches and large spiders in my room and the room had a very off putting odor. However, housekeeping did bring fresh towels daily and replenished toiletries proactively. The breakfast is good if you arrive early, however after 8:30, it seems there is not much left and most things were out of stock, so I would suggest you get there early if you’d like to partake in the breakfast.

Ari and Grace at the front desk were very helpful. I was able to book a room quickly and they made the process very easy. The room was clean and spacious with a desk and a couch. DirecTv had a lot of channels and did not have any issues. The best part was the balcony seating area outside of the room. There are beautiful views all around and it makes for a good spot to sit and watch Blairsville.

Booked 2 night stay through our Amex app and we requested a cancellation of the second night. Arrived at the room with dirty stained and soiled bed sheets. The fleece throw had hairs entangled and weaved through it. The comforter had makeup stains and urine stains on them. The bathroom ceiling had missing tiles and mold spores on them. Dead bugs and spider webs in the corners and gnats flying all over. We received a cancellation of the second night and wished we could have had a refund because the money spent on the one night was not restful sleep.

Check in easy, friendly clerk. Not a fun trip, was to attend grave side service for my brother in law. Weather turned ugly, allowed us to check out earlier than plan,

The rooms needs some updates but all in all is very good. Love the balcony & people are nice & very accommodating. I wish they can improve on the Wi-Fi as it is slow & not adequate for work. I think it is the best in town as I stayed in Comfort Inn. Their balcony makes the difference. Rooms with small windows are not comforting.
