Great location! Right on the highway that leads to Death Valley. It seemed like older property but mostly well maintained. Breakfast buffet was decent. The rooms are a bit away from the front desk. We stayed in a D block room. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Now, the biggest issue we had was NO HOT WATER!!! The water pressure was low which we could have managed but couldn't take a hot shower in the morning before we headed out to Death Valley National Park. It was ice cold even after running the water in the tub for a couple minutes. I called the front desk, the nice lady said she'd put in a service call but what good it does when we needed to get going in an hour?!? We stay in a hotel room (and not in a camping tent) for two main things: A comfortable bed for a good night sleep, and a hot shower in the morning so you start your vacation day right. Sorry, but not getting a hot shower in a Best Western brand hotel was unexpected and unacceptable.

Spent a week here at this hotel for our holiday vacation. It was a perfect location for visiting Death Valley and surrounding area. We ended up getting a room that had a kitchen and was pet friendly. The hotel provides breakfast, which has great options to choose from each day.

Our overall experience in the hotel wasn't good. Based on the price of stay($250/night) and our previous experiences, this particular stay was one of the least satisfying for me and my wife. The corridor was always smelling of food although there wasn't any kitchen in this building. The room had a old and stale food smell as well. The AC unit was too loud. Room wasn't cleaned even upon request. Breakfast spread wasn't exciting at all (you get a similar food in a motel except the scrambled eggs) After a long day, when we checked in and were assigned the first room we got our luggage to the 2nd floor (no elevator) only to find the room was used and not ready at all. This was after 6pm (way after check in time) and we had mentioned that we will check in late. Had to go back to the counter to get another room (244). Also, the corridors of this building smelt of food always. That was not a good first impression at all. Even our room smelt like left over food. Cleanliness was questionable. The air conditioner was very dirty, dusty and old to my understanding. The AC unit was very loud. It kept waking me up a number of times at night. Till 2AM I also kept waking up to a loud plumbing noise from the next room. And it kept automatically going off every 12 seconds. Called up the front desk after waiting for sometime and requested them to check on it. Had asked them to knock at my door as well when they were there. I kept waiting for them, nobody came down to check with me. Although the noise stopped around 3AM i think. On the 1st morning we had requested the house keeping to clean the room as we were going out for the day. We had also requested the front desk to clean the room, on the way out. When we came back to the room in the evening, nothing was cleaned. Just 2 clean towels were kept on the basin !!

Not for me. The photos are extremely misleading. This is an old old time share like resort with big bold labels in the sides of buildings to tell you where to walk. The breakfast was awful rubber scrambled eggs and cheap cold bacon and old muffins. The pool is one of those old gated center in ground pools in the center of the buildings. I think the room was fresh and clean. The location is far from Death Valley with nothing in between. I should have booked something like this in Death Valley, I thought it would be nicer and save us time driving back to Vegas but I wish we’d just stayed in Vegas or the national park instead.

Paid almost $600 for 2 nights here. Paid for a king size bed, the bed was definitely a queen. Came into our room with a clogged toilet and cleaning staff tried to leave plunger for me to fix (mind you we didn’t clog the toilet) the smart tv in the room wouldn’t connect to the WiFi, front desk said that they couldn’t help us and maintenance wasn’t there so there was nothing she could do. This was hands down the worst experience I have had at a hotel. My family is here in Pahrump and I will avoid ever staying here again when we visit.
