Best Western Park Oasis Inn

Room is spacious although bathroom was a little dirty. Big pool and lots of food options nearby and attached. Free breakfast in the morning. No hotel gym. Staff seemed very friendly and left a cute note and rubber ducky :)

My family and I have been patronizing this hotel for about 9 years. We fell in love with the staff, service, the way the hotel, restaurant and gift store were connected and the coupons for them we would receive. But now, we might not come back because of how we were treated by the manager and cleaning staff. Our room was not cleaned, we didn't have any towels, the trash not taken. Apparently the cleaning lady swore she did and signed but it was clear she didn't even step foot in our room. Honestly, it wasn't a huge deal - we had to make our trip short anyway. But what really upset us was when we brought it to the attention of the manager (because it's still unacceptable) and it seemed like she didn't believe us. Like - she didn't really care and just wanted to us pay and get out. We are very loyal customers. Once we LOVE an experience, we will continue to patronize your business. However, this really left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we will probably not come back. I do want to say that the hotel is clean (kind of dated) and the breakfast is good. The prices are fair for Mauston being about 30 minutes from Dells. There is a potent smell that surrounds the hotel but it became nostalgic so it isn't horrible. I would just make sure that your cleaning staff actually clean. Edit: For a customer who is interested in leaving a review that the owner might not like, this will be the type of response you receive. While you referenced my stays as infrequent, I've visited more often than you’ve noted—some stays might have been under my daughter's name but we started booking in 2015, and chose your hotel during a span of 9 years (Sorry, should have made that more clear for you if I had known you were going to investigate my history). Asking for a discount is standard, especially for returning guests who have shown loyalty over the years and ESPECIALLY when our room was never cleaned (which is NOT standard). I don’t know why you write as if asking for a discount is a bad thing? A simple “no” is great! Like you said, the staff member I dealt with on the second night was incredibly nice (during my entire stay) and made me feel heard, unlike the manager who made me feel like I was lying rather than addressing my concerns. I did not leave any personal items on the bed (I read the note), so there’s no reason my room shouldn’t have been properly cleaned. Instead of jumping to conclusions, it would have been better to address the actual issue. Mentioning the old coupons wasn’t confusion—it was nostalgia. I was expressing how your hotel once made a great impression, which is why it’s disappointing to see the current state of service. I appreciate your response, but sometimes it’s better to listen to feedback rather than defensively dissecting it. Wishing you the best with future renovations.

Great location not far from WI Dells. Clean rooms with a fresh look. Great hot breakfast

This hotel had a very nice group of staff! The breakfast was made very nice and are room was cleaned pretty well except that our shower was a little dusty/dirty but nothing to much. It was a little hard to navigate our way into the hotel cause of all the wonky roads. It is very close to many fast food chains and in a great spot to get food and gas! It had an indoor and outdoor pool! Also a hot tub that had to manual option of turning your own bubbles on, we tried using their sauna but it didn’t seem to work to well! They had a “Emerald Lounge” I didn’t go inside so I don’t know much about it, in conclusion I would definitely recommend staying here!

This hotel feels brand new. Location allowed for easy access to many different types of road food, plus an attached one of a kind restaurant was highly appreciated. First cheese shop I have ever seen that was also attached to the restaurant. While property is on highway, no highway noise in our room. We were very impressed.
