Front desk gentleman when we arrived was super nice and helpful. Our room was clean other than a gross stain on the chair, but flipping the cushion took care of that. The TV didn’t work so the front desk guy had been replaced with another guy by the evening and said our TV was no good. He moved us a few rooms down instead of just changing out the TV, and instead of a king we had two queens. That room wasn’t as nice and looked half painted and the heater set off the smoke alarm and smelled terrible until it ran awhile because it hasn’t been ran this fall. There was a buzzing noise in the wall and a short jackhammer sound off and on. Front desk said maybe fridge or something outside. At 1:40 we couldn’t take the noise any longer and moved once again to our first room with no working TV which at this point didn’t matter, because the bed and the room was nicer anyways! We finally got settled and realized it sounded like Darth Vader was breathing in our room. Got up and started unplugging things and realized it was the doggone fridge! Then at 5 a.m. an alarm set by a precious person went off, sounding like a malfunction in the heat/air unit and scared us to death! But, on the bright side, breakfast was really good and the sweet lady working the breakfast room was amazing and kept things coming out! My advice? Don’t stay in a room close to elevator equipment! Check the room and how things work or don’t work before checking in! We’re functioning on little sleep today!

DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL. It was a terrible experience. We booked the room for three nights. We arrived late evening and noticed the smell of mildew/mold in the reception. We checked in and arrived at the room, and the smell of mildew/mold was so overwhelming. There were mold stains on the ceiling. We talked to the reception and they showed alternative rooms, but other two rooms had the same disgusting smell. We decided to stay in the originally assigned room as all the rooms had the same smell. The cleanliness of the room was terrible. They have tried covering up the mess. The beds are super uncomfortable. The bathroom was the worst ever. Never got hot water. We barely slept in the room, and our garments and hairs smelled mildew next day. I don't understand why people give a high score for breakfast. It is a very low-profile breakfast. The city should demolish the hotel since it is a health problem.

The customer service at check-in was great. Sadly, that was the only good thing about this hotel. I thought perhaps it was just our two rooms. But upon reading more of these reviews, maybe it’s a 3rd floor issue. Either way…the smell of mildew/mold was so overwhelming. There was a heavy scent of cleaning solution right after house keeping left, and we checked in to 303. When we returned late that evening, the smell was definitely mildew/mold musty scent. The flooring near the AC unit was squishy. They have tried covering up the mess, as it appeared to have been remodeled. They need to try again. The shower was the worst ever. Never got hot and it completely stopped working mid shower for my husband. If we had booked for more than one night, we would have definitely moved hotels.

When we first arrived, everything seemed good, but by the time we left, it was terrible. First the room smelled damp and musty after the first day. The breakfast was not good at all, even to be free. Then while we we're eating our breakfast the front of the trashcan crashed down next to our table nearly giving us a heart attack. The inside was rotting which caused it to fall off. No one apologized to us or asked if we were okay even though it fell mere inches from me. We won't be back.
