Best Western Plus Capitola By-the-Sea Inn & Suites

we stayed one night and we're very impressed with this Best Western. I would never have reviewed a Best Western but can't help myself with this one. The beds were comfortable the rooms were very large. and the breakfast was nicely presented with the typical motel food plus a little more. The decorations in the hallway and in the lobby were cherry and the rooms were bright and colorful.

The place is so cute but our stay got better with the amazing staff, Shauna, I’m so sorry if I misspelled it. She went out of her way to help us! My toddler and I were so grateful! Definitely will be back again. Thank you again :) will definitely post on our social media too. I also love that it’s near this epic restaurant! Thank you for the help and definitely want to highlight Shauna and a gentleman who helped us earlier as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Capitola by the Sea! The hotel was very clean and in a great location, just a short walk to the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service. We had a minor issue upon arrival with a leaking iron and a bathroom door that stuck, but the staff immediately took care of both, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was better than most hotels I've stayed at, with a great variety. Overall, a fantastic experience – highly recommend!

The check in process was super easy and Stephanie was so friendly.This is one of the Best BW hotels I have ever stayed in. The entire hotel has a fresh modern look including the rooms. We stayed in a Fireplace King Suite which had a nice sitting area. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. I asked Steve at the front desk for a recommendation on a place to have dinner and he recommended Cafe Cruz. It was amazing…thanks Steve! Free parking in a large lot with standard size stalls. It was nice to get back later in the evening and not have to worry about if we would be able to find a parking spot. Good hot and cold breakfast choices. The specialty coffee machine in the lobby is a nice plus. Looking forward to our next stay!

My room was clean and it felt like it was recently remodeled. The staff was really nice too. However, I was there for a three night stay and was placed across the hall from the laundry room for the hotels towels and sheets. The maids were really loud, talking outside my room - every day!. The machines were loud too. My room was also close to the door that guests used to get to the dining room. So lots of noise from the door and guests chattering in the hallway. It was room 116. Avoid staying anywhere near this room. I want to say I might stay there again if I could get a room far away from this area. Great location - so I am giving three stars to balance the good with the very bad.
