Best Western Plus Chemainus Inn

Honestly super bummed out I'm even making this review. My partner and i come here for date nights. Usually we are impressed and pleased with the rooms and service but this time around I sadly cannot say the same. We were placed in room 414 directly next to the elevator without anyone telling us. We tried to use the ear plugs that are provided for sleep and sounds but it did nothing. We were both up tossing and turning all night until I notified the front desk by trying to both call and text. The phone and our concerns were not addressed. We didn't get a response from anyone. Alas, I spent literally all night awake due to hearing the clunking of elevators and other sounds rumbling the room. On top of this, novidy notified us of the hot tub being out of order, which I understand things hapoen. But a heads up on the status of amenities would have been nice. We went down for breakfast at 850am and while we were still eating they shut down the beverage machines entirely. We felt rushed to finish eating and had nothing to wash it down with. As water is not even available. Next time I'll be choosing somewhere else for a date night and this sucks because I don't get to do stuff like this often. I feel it was 200-something dollars wasted.

It was one of the best breakfasts. Staff at reception are willing to give outstanding help when asked. Kitchen staff is also very helpful. Either of the staff goes beyond to help in any way possible. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Walter Empey Jr

Super Clean, Super Happy Workers, All the Amenities you could ever need. Its my home away from home and the people here make you feel like family. I'm very appreciative of everyone who works here and keeps the breakfasts warm and tasty, the housekeepers who are over the top friendly and do top notch work, to the lovely faces at the front desk who make checking in/out a delightful experience.

Stayed here as part of a package with the local theatre, which was less than 15 mins walk from the hotel. Our room was quiet and comfortable had everything we needed and we felt we would be happy staying here for a longer time The staff were all very friendly and the complimentary breakfast buffet was great Pool and gym on site were also good although the hot tub was out of service during our stay We can recommend the hotel/theatre package (we got the best deal booking through the Chemainus theatre, which is another gem)

Went here for work overnight, about six other people under same company name for payment of the rooms. Right away problems with checking in, room with no views, coffee machine sounds like it's taking off, T V doesn't have remote and no hot tub ? Parking is so busy , then checking out with more problems!! Charging my credit card instead of Employer, even when I asked staff if all good because I can't afford to add on to my card !! Now it's a problem for me ! This is why a bad review, nothing "Best" about this experience!!
