Best Western Plus College Park Hotel

Stayed here while attending workshop at Univeristy of Maryland College Park campus. Room was able size, clean and bed comfortable. Good pillows and microwave. Breakfast quite standard but good. No soy milk option. Supermarket up the road with limited options for food. Felt safe enough. A decent walk south to the main group of restaurants but some nearby also. Price got too high to stay on a Friday night so I checked in elsewhere.

I've stayed at multiple properties along Baltimore Ave and this one is my favorite so far. Decent price, good location, free parking and no goofy design decisions for the sake of aesthetics, like barn doors on bathrooms. Breakfast included or walking distance from plenty of other choices. Will stay here the next I'm in College Park.

This hotel is located in College Park, close to U MD campus. The hotel has a beautiful view of the city. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Furniture and finishes are well maintained. The common areas and the rooms were clean, and cleaning carts weren't left sitting around in corridors like I've seen in some hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and kept replenished. We loved the coffee machines and the espresso/cappuccino choices. Would stay here again.

I had a great 2 night stay here for my weekend vacation to D.C. To begin the area is perfect, it's Maryland University college campus area so there's plenty of food places in walking distance even Lidls if you need some groceries for your stay. Before I chose this hotel I did a lot of compare and contrast to other hotels, this one has FREE parking and FREE breakfast included in your stay.You get a little parking sign for your car. One thing I wasn't expecting, you will have to pay a $100 deposit which you will receive 2-3 days after check out. I know other hotels probably do the same thing, I just didn't work that in my budget, so keep the deposit in mind. The actual room it's self was super clean. Nothing was sketch or out of place. Very pristine. The TV was really nice too, up to date, not old and had netflix available on it. All amenities worked. Breakfast was good, they have a pancake maker vs a waffle maker. Yogurt,omlettes,sausages and chicken sausage (which was nice since I don't eat pork) potatoes/peppers, oatmeal, your toasts/muffin type stuff. Very simple with enough variety to play with. Overall, I had no problems and a fabulous stay and will definitely be staying here again the next time I stay.

Front reception check in staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are clean and spacious and modern. Just caution, being a metro University location, parking can be unavailable on the lot, if checking in late, but there is a Parking Garage next to hotel.
