Best Western Plus Columbia River Inn

Loved staying here. And the view of the river was great. Included breakfast was awesome. The only thing I would complain about is the pool area, the pool seemed like there was dirt drifts on the bottom of it and the room could use a little more...something. Oh, and the coffee/cocoa dispenser in the lobby was tasted just....gross. Good thing I brought my own. These are petty things that would not have me staying away from this place I would LOVE to come back in Summer.

Pay the extra $20 and book yourself a river view room. It was amazing and I wish there was a balcony to sit outside and enjoy it more. The included breakfast was actually in a legitimate restaurant next door with lots of options. By far this was the best "included "breakfast we've ever had on a trip. The layout of the room was well updated and a great design. We had double sinks outside of the bathroom which made things so much easier when traveling with a family. The only downside to this hotel was the trains that run past the river at night that might wake you up. The location was perfect to see all the cascade waterfalls and the Bonneville Fish Hatchery.

We enjoyed the view of the Columbia River and Bridge of the Gods right outside the window. The breakfast included at the diner next door was a pleasant surprise (way better then the typical options). However, there were a few downsides. Staff warned us that car break-ins are common in their parking lot, which was a bit unsettling. Additionally, our room had a musty odor, and some general signs of disrepair. With a bit more maintenance and attention to security, this hotel could be an excellent choice given the prime location and breakfast offering.

We had the best room in the hotel. Amenities, bed, carpet, linen, chairs,shower, fan in bathroom, water temperature, windows sound control, TV, heating, etc is perfect. Clean from the ceiling to the floor. No phantom dookey smell or mustiness. Even the train you could barely hear. The view of the river and bridge was spectacular but even with my good binoculars I didn't see any deer, fisherman, bears, eagles or fish. On the deck it was very quiet. I'm glad they provide free earplugs anyways. Breakfast is a voucher at Bridgeside restaurant where you get a menu for choices they provide. The food is fantastic. Everything is expensive in that town but good. The coffee maker by the ice machine is fun. The pool and spa was being worked on but I didn't mind. Impressed with the establishment for a tiny town.

Loved this hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. The views of the river and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The occasional train added a refreshing ambiance. The breakfast set up with the adjacent restaurant was an exciting extra. Everything was so clean. Will stay here again and even seek out other Best Western Plus hotels in other locales.
