Best Western Plus Hollywood/Aventura

The property is located right along the I 95 corridor. The traffic noise was barely blocked if at all, with racing engines well into the night and again early in the morning. Conditions may be better on lower floors or on the parking lot side of the building. Keys seem to fail often requiring return trips to the desk to be recharged. One of the two elevators was out of order. The front desk staff was very friendly. The breakfast room staff were competent. There is coffee always available with the small single serving half n half cups, however during breakfast when I asked for half n half I was told there was only milk, they put the half n half out only after breakfast hours 🤔 Toilets are very low and beds are very high, not an issue for us per se, but I do have elders that would have been challenged. Again, the staff, Diego in specific were friendly. The public areas are decent. Rooms are lacking.

This location is the best I've been to so far 10 ⭐'s. The customer service from the staff was beyond excellent, welcoming, so sweet, and helpful. (All except the tall dark skin girl with the glasses, wish I knew her name but she is extremely rude and need to take classes on how to treat and talk to people) Even the staff that couldn't speak good English was so sweet and kind they did their absolute best and every part of the facility stayed clean. They made my stay feel like I was at home. Thank you guys for being such an awesome staff, you guys are amazing human beings

(BIG HA HA TO THOSE FAKE REVIEWS WITH MORE THAT 2 STARS - I’m sorry I have to comment - all bad reviews are in line, totally consistent and there is better reviews here and there to lift the overall star status, but the comments doesn’t describe this place at all). I would not even consider to go back if I get a free night or something like that. When we arrived and they gave us a room , after we went to check it - the door were open and there was mess and blood on the floor (nicely described) / usually I let the kids go in first they have a fun opening the door and checking the room ,but I was very lucky this didn’t happen this time and I was the one getting there first. This was really disgusting!! (I don’t want to comment on the people using the hotel or the neighborhood, but you are probably getting the point). They gave us other room which was much better, but still, I would never want to go back there. We only stayed two nights because we arrived late at night and they agreed to cancel the rest of the reservation after 2 night (Thank you at least for that!!!) I don’t think we would last one more night there anyway even if they don’t cancel rest of the trip. I have to admit the food for breakfast was pretty good… but the place to eat breakfast is kind of small and it was pretty crowded. This is definitely not hotel for romantic trip or vacation for family and especially not with the small kids. As you read other reviews, the hotel smells really bad, that is solid fact. In the room you get old carpet , old bathrooms / rust / dirt…. the ACs in the windows make noise and the worst comes after you turn it on - brutal smell coming from it / You could smell the mold. We prefer to turn it off for night and we opened the window a bit. I think this is enough… Perhaps just, I don’t think this is the staff they work with what they have. There were NOT rude or anything like that.

When I tell you this hotel has been heaven sent during my families time of crisis I am not exaggerating. They are reasonably priced, clean and extremely nice. For breakfast you get the pleasure of dealing with pleasant employees like Dolores and Don Eduardo who go above and beyond. Whoever has been cleaning our room is great too. They have a beautiful pool and a gym to get a good work out in. I would definitely recommend this Best Western location due to the great staff and the accommodations that fit my families needs.

Amazing customer service - the front desk workers were so kind and welcoming. I was not totally impressed with the actual room. There was a bit of mold on the lamp shade and an odd smell. No fault of the workers - company needs to put more money into fixing the building. They tried to give us a different room but I decided to just get another hotel. I would have stayed if the hotel was as nice as their staff!
