I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was a last minute booking because the original hotel I booked didn't have any hot water. I like the location, plenty of places to eat nearby, and close to the freeway. Also, this location is next door to small race track and roller coaster. The hot breakfast was included in the price, which is a plus! Not a big selection but enough to fill you up. Waffles, sausage, etc and great coffee. I would highly recommend for the price!!

My first time staying at a Best Western Plus and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The lobby was nicely decorated in Christmas decor and when entering our room, it smelled so nice and clean! The room was spacious, and comfortable, and I liked that it had a modern Keurig coffee maker! I also loved that free coffee and juice/tea were available 24/7 in the lobby. I hope to stay again sometime in the future.

I've stayed at this hotel in the past. It's one of the hotels that doesn't charge resort fees on top of nightly room rate. It's an older property that has been renovated, but the property is slowly wear and tear. The common areas and hallways are maintained better than the individual rooms in my experience. I always get king room with a jetted tub, which has always been priced at $99 plus tax during the off-season. The rooms with jetted tubs have been spacious in my experience. I like that the individual rooms have luxury vinyl flooring instead of carpeting. It's at least my hope that the luxury vinyl flooring stays cleaner than carpet especially at a hotel that welcomes pets. All my stays have been quiet. I wouldn't have known there were other guests except for running into them in the lobby or at breakfast. For the price point of the hotel, it really does offer a pretty good breakfast. On all my stays, there has always been some kind of breakfast sausage offered. My most recent stay had sausage links, scrambled eggs, warm biscuits, cream gravy, oatmeal, and make your own waffles as the hot options along with the usual continental breakfast you find at most hotel breakfasts. Overall I find this to be a quiet, decent place to stay at a reasonable price. When I go to Myrtle Beach, it's usually for quick business trips, and this hotel has always met my needs. Would this be my choice of a great vacation? No, however, it has always been a quiet, safe place to sleep, I haven't brought home bed bugs, and I get a nice hot breakfast before I had to hurry off and start on a busy day. In my opinion, the hotel is a solid choice for the budget traveler who wants a good breakfast.

We spent 2 nights here in a pet-friendly room since we had our dog with us. Our room had tiled floors, which made sense for easy clean-up of any dog messes. The two queen beds were comfortable and the room was very clean except for the floors, which obviously hadn't been mopped in a while because each night the bottom of our feet would be black and we'd have to wash them before bed. The per-night dog fee was reasonable. The front desk staff were polite and very efficient. The breakfast was very good and all the staff we ran into were very friendly. The decor was really nice. Loved all the blue shades. There is an area behind the hotel's pool that has doggie poop bags and a trash can. The hotel is on the intracoastal waterway and has a beautiful deck area along the water with tables & chairs. The outdoor pool looked great, but it had just closed for the winter when we were there (Nov. 1), so that was a bummer. There were some missing molding pieces around the floors in our room and the hotel itself, and the bathtub faucet was a little rickety, but we had plenty of water pressure and warm water for showers. The A/C unit had a slight mildew smell when it was on, but we purchased a flat, car air freshener and put it in the louvres and that solved the problem. The hotel is in a good area, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

What I Liked · I enjoyed my stay. Location was great and the room was a good size, clean, and had good amenities. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were friendly. What Could Be Improved · The wifi was terrible, which made it tough to work. I'm glad I had my hotspot. I wasn't a fan of how noisy the hallways were, maybe noise buffering pads for under the door would help. I always didn't like that the sliding door in the lobby was partially broken and the back entry door had a sticky handle that was tough to come through. I also didn't like how expensive the laundry was.
