Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Suites

Clean rooms, pillows were a bit small for the king bed, but the room wasn't bad. Sunday morning breakfast was definitely not prepared for people at 6. When we went down at 630, waffle iron wasn't ready to use and the gravy was lukewarm. Monday was better by far, but we also went down later. Potatoes, sausage, and eggs were good. Bacon was thin and flavorless. Gina was absolutely pleasant and bubbly. Overall, good stay.

5 stars for Gina!!!! She was phenomenal- friendly, helpful, and super fun toward the kids! Less stars for the room… it was clean enough but when we walked in there was an overpowering air freshener smell. I spoke with Gina about it and she said that we were staying in a pet friendly room and they do use air freshener but may have used too much. Gina was apologetic and very nice about it but unfortunately the hotel was completely booked and there were no rooms available for us to move to. By the next morning the room did smell less like air freshener but then we could definitely smell whatever unpleasant smell they were trying to cover up. Room 104 is mentioned in a review from 3 months ago and that’s the one we stayed in. So I would recommend requesting any other room but that one apparently. The pool is good, the free breakfast is great, and the service from Gina was top notch.

I am completely blown away with how helpful and kind Gina is at the front desk. This is the second time i've stayed at this best western, after a ten hour drive and walking in the door exhausted, Gina was there with a big smile and welcoming. I've been in the service industry for over 26 years,I know what to expect and when somebody is being genuine. She is definitely a one of a kind person and makes you feel like you are home.

Been staying at this hotel over the years when my job takes me through this area. I usually stay weeks at a time at this location and it’s always a good stay with comfortable beds and good breakfast. The hotel even goes out of its way to make breakfast to go bags for us railroaders at 2am before we go off to work which we all extremely appreciate and it’s thoughtful of them to do! Originally I posted a bad review because I was frustrated with a booking issue which I planned on pulling shortly after and leaving it at that but I feel compelled to leave this review given the quality this hotel offers and even the owner gave sincere apology over the booking issue.

This location is a solid stay. It’s not a luxury resort, but it’s clean and has good amenities (pool, great breakfast options, etc.). The kids especially enjoyed the pool. What brings the stay to 5stars? Gina at the front desk! She was so helpful, welcoming, and a friendly face to come “home” to. Our kids asked if we could adopt her! She’s the best.
