Best Western Plus Plattsburgh

This Best Western Plus is so close to a favorite destination of mine. Upon check in Matt and Emily helped us, I'm having a very helpful with any questions we had . Miss Sam has been awesome throughout our stay. Thank you the hiring staff for Best Western for picking out some great team members. I'd like to especially named Matt, Emily and Sam for making our stay very comfortable. I can not describe any better than the beds are made of clouds!! That was my favorite part. A dream bed in a sense. I used the washer and dryer, both were clean and worked well. I would suggest someone cleaning out the dryer, it needs some help. The pool and mini arcade are cool. Outdated arcade but was fun to check out. Pool is 9' at the deep end! Is well maintained! Restaurant on sight is pretty fair. I've had dinner 2x out of the 3 nights here. Customer services fair at the restaurant.

We had a 3 day to local Plattsburg area to visit for family reasons. Didn't need an overpriced hotel to sleep in so we reviewed hotels for cleanliness; service; upkeep and location. Best Western Plus was in top 3 choices. It was rated very well and was only a tad below the top but with a $50. lower rate. It was like a trip back in time because it was an older motel which was refurbished. It was fine for my wife and I. The double beds were very good. The facility is very clean; service was very user friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Was great for a short stay with 2 in the room. That is how I would recommend it. Plenty of parking and close to our room. I think the top hotel would not have been better for this stay because I must say it was quiet and the owners do keep it up as best as possible. So when I say it was like a trip back in time it had bathroom with one sink; an older but fine shower and window darkening shade which is out of date but very effective. We had a very nice stay.

We had the best time because we were so close to the ferry to Vermont where we spent most of our time. We had the biggest jacuzzi suite in the hotel and it was very nice. Little bit of housekeeping tweaks needed though. There were lots of smudgy Windows throughout the hotel, as well as finding that our hotel suite was not quite as clean as we had hoped. Didn't stop us from having a phenomenal time. This is a great hotel that has the capability of being fantastic.

We ended up paying $300 a night to stay for a friend’s wedding. I’m not sure if it was surge pricing or what, but for that amount we should’ve just stayed at an air bnb. The hotel is extremely middle-of-road. It’s “fine,” but certainly nothing more than that and definitely not worth the price point. Room was small and dingy and the hallways smelled of mildew. The fitness area also smelled strongly of mildew/water. I would never go back.

Good location with truck parking which I need. Hotel is clean and updated. The 99 restaurant is great and the breakfast is fresh and has good options. Also has many other local options for food. This is my go to spot when I'm in Plattsburgh!
