Best Western Plus Santee Inn

Everything from our check-in to our check-out was perfect! The lobby it’s so nice with Bible verses around the room for a warm and welcoming touch! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and beautiful, it didn’t even smell like dogs and it was a pet friendly room for our puppy. The grounds, pool area, nearby golf course, delicious buffet breakfast and Captains restaurant were all beautiful! The ease on and off 95 was simple!! We will stay here again and again on our drive to Florida! Thank you!

Great location just off I-95. Yet the room is quiet that you can hardly hear anything from the highway. Room was well maintained, clean, well-lit, and smell fresh. Beds were comfortable. Pet friendly with a $30 pet fee which is reasonable. Breakfast was surprisingly decent.

Driving from New Jersey to Florida. Hotel right off 95. Rooms were extremely clean and bed was so comfortable. Free breakfast had a nice variety and also very clean. Would highly recommend.

Great service as soon as we walked in the door., our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable.. the breakfast was hot and good., my husband got the sausage gravy and he said it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to stay and the restaurant next door is a bonus . It was fantastic also

Nothing plus about this Best Western! Bugs! Front desk person was totally unhelpful! We need a fridge with a freezer section for freezer packs when we travel. Despite confirming this was possible with front desk when booking, first room no luck. Despite assurances from front desk, second room no luck. As my pictures show, room was very old and worn! No table or chairs to sit at to eat. Had to use a pillow to sit on! Toilet seat was off centre, rugs dirty and worn, musty smell, and a first for us as we travel frequently, bug in the tub! Not what we expected from a Best Western! Unfortunately too late to switch hotels! In the morning my husband and I were uncomfortable eating in the dining area because of the bible quotes on the chalk boards. Yes, more than one. 2 percent milk was off, no yogurt or cheese on the menu. Muffins would have been a healthier selection than donuts. Hot food was ok. Front desk in the morning offered no reduction in fee. Said all their new fridges have no freezer compartments. Cost saving feature maybe? Wifi was ok but lack of usb ports was annoying. We had our own plug in chargers though. Some people might like the older ambience but we expected better from this hotel chain. We won’t be back and will return to our preferred hotel chain in this area!
