My sister just moved to Mesa from Tucson and we needed a hotel until she found a place. We stayed at this location for 2 weeks. We had a nice stay, the room was clean, the free breakfast was cool, staff could be nicer. Stephanie was cordial and helpful. However, Laura is not a good representation for this asset. She is extremely rude and probably should reconsider a job in hospitality. Lastly, we kept extending our stay by 1-2 nights at a time, as the app we used was a non-refundable booking, in hindsight, we should have booked through Best Western's website to accumulate points, but also I think the staff should have mentioned it or offered a better rate. ???

Reserved a quiet private rooms weeks ago and here's what we got: 1) Ground floor, whence door opened up to McDonalds drive thru. 2) Room odour was musty, as if it had previously been a smoking room. Had to purchase an air freshener to tolerate one night. 3) Decided to check out early due to condition of the room and was charged nearly $500 US (for one night) as the Mgmt insisted on penalising us for early departure. I advise my colleagues to avoid this Inn.

The rooms themselves we're ok, they were very clean and nice. The reason why I give it 2 stars is due to service and location. The service was pretty bad, I specifically booked this room because everywhere I looked it said 'pets welcome' yet as soon as I enter the lobby I am singled out by one of the lady's at the desk named Laura in front of everyone because I had brought my cat and that was 'gonna be a problem'. She continued to inform me that when they say 'pets welcome' they literally only mean dogs and 'for as long as she has been working in this business she has never seen a hotel allow cats'. I have stayed at hotels with my cat before, so I don't believe that is a universal experience. Then the location of the actual room is right by the McDonald's drive way and the speaker is VERY loud. The one upside of that was that there was a very enthusiastic McDonald's employee who was fun to listen to sometimes. Since I didn't get enough sleep during my stay I planned to check out late so I called to the desk and got the same woman from before who proceded to tell me that I would have to call back the next morning to ask for a late checkout. What's the point??? I wanted a late checkout so I could sleep in. All said and done I will not be staying here again.

All around nice place, nice clean rooms, and good breakfast in the mornings, but the front desk people don’t allow you to bring your breakfast to your room. They say the reasons are they don’t want us to make a mess and they don’t want us to waste food. Neither of which make any sense at all, there’s a microwave and fridge in all the rooms, which means they clearly allow food in the rooms, (also room service) and the fact that they don’t want us wasting food is ridiculous, I had a full plate of food I was trying to bring to my room for my daughter and they made me throw it away instead of bringing it to my room. What a waste of perfectly good food. (Also it seems like they were just picking on me and my family, they sat there and watched as multiple other guests brought food to their rooms, but stopped me, this place is ridiculous) other than the absurd breakfast rules it’s a great place, but I can’t seem to get over how they treated me in the morning

White towels are dingy and grey, can hear everything above you and outside. Nats flying around the room soon as I came in. AC blows very cold and not restrictive so I’ll give them that.
