Best Western Thunderbird Motel

Cleanest Motel I've ever been in, and I've traveled through 38 of our states. I've usually gone more for hotels when I can, but this one reminded me that motels aren't something to turn your nose up at. 👏 Room was over all pretty standard, nothing to wild, but still very clean. The. BREAKFAST! I can't remember the last time there was such a well stocked breakfast bar at any motel/hotel ever. The lady attending to everything was constantly checking and making sure things were good to go, but not in an intrusive, trip over her, kind of way. 10/10 was awesome.

Booked this hotel to stay the night while taking a roadtrip to Gatlinburg and I gotta say it was a pleasant experience. The Front desk was very informative from the beginning to the end on where our room was located, the breakfast hours and through the checkout process. Great customer service goes a long way with me! The room was very immaculately clean with comfortable beds and Double sinks which helped us a lot with our stay. The mountain views in the morning were also nice to wake up to when stepping outside. Breakfast was decent , having sufficient options to choose from. We definitely recommend this hotel!

I chose this last minute room based on the 'very clean' reviews, the fact they have a HOT breakfast, and that it was $60 - 80 cheaper than a lot of similarly rated hotels. Other than the carpet, everything was very clean, excellent water pressure and hot water, the breakfast was good (tons of options to stay and go) and the breakfast lady was the sweetest! The staff were all so nice.

Cons: Beds were old & worn out my back still hurts wouldn't accommodate downstairs room. Breakfast area was tiny but had wide variety. Floors could have been cleaned better Pros: location was great Lots of food & shopping options near by Variety of grab & go breakfast items Doors open outside great for smokers They do have elevator (thank goodness)

Fairly nice motel newly renovated clean rooms. Some confusion with night desk clerk regarding room pricing for downgrade from king to double queen room due to unavailable quiet area for king room. Day clerk very helpful to correct pricing accordingly. Queen beds definitely NOT the same size of our queen bed at home. Likely given a pet room but still quite clean. Considerably quiet for outdoor rooms.
