It was a great experience! Loved the small town atmosphere with the beautiful Oceanside views and little restaurants. The room was the perfect size for me and my stay! Really clean and neat room with the welcoming hospitality workers they had at the front desk!
If there were a way to leave less than 1 star, that’s what I would be leaving. Disgusting room where we found condoms and garbage on the floor. Naturally we went back to the front desk and told them we would be leaving. It has been 2 weeks and we have not received a refund and management has done nothing but incredibly rude and unhelpful. Absolutely disgusted with this hotel and even more so with the customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE. Responding to their response. The stay was not completed. We left immediately. What’s your refund policy on that?!
Not worth what we paid to stay here - turns out we were here on a triathlon weekend, so my guess is this was why we paid $200 for the one Saturday night. We got to the hotel at 7.30pm - sign outside said the office manager would be back by 7.45pm, but no one came back to the office until 8.45pm to check us in. Room was fine, but there was still food from the folks before us in the minifridge. If you're staying in town, location is great, but just as a stop over for the night, wouldn't come back.
TERRIBLE! No staff came to open the office or hotel lobby in the morning so there was no breakfast or coffee as promised. The office was locked up until late afternoon. Our room keys also stopped working and we were locked out from our rooms with all our stuff in them. Once we got a housekeeping person that came in the afternoon to let us in our room we grabbed all our stuff and left and went to another place to stay the last night. The owner will not give us a refund for the unused prepaid night despite no one was there and we were locked out. We disputed it with them and they said we had to talk to the owner. We emailed the owner and they will not even respond to us for a month now. Many times we’ve tried. No response. We also disputed it with our credit card company but the owner will also not answer them. Maybe they are going out of business. NEVER STAY HERE! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I would never recommend this hotel. The communication between staff is non existent. We had unruly and loud guests staying next to us. Tried to contact the front desk. there is no body on location overnight. we had to sleep in our car. It was a horrible experience. They would not give us our money back. Traded us to another room, which they promptly gave to someone else while we were gone! Much better places in Morro Bay. Stay away!
