Best Western Windsor Inn

I have stayed here on multiple occasions. The hotel is very well maintained with nice rooms, and great amenities like a pool, big gym, and continental breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is located right off I-5. However, it is fairly far from downtown, so expect to drive anywhere you need to go. Overall, great location and service.

The last 5 years this hotel had went downhill. I don’t know if it’s new owners or new management. The outside looks great though! Mold all the time in the heater/ac vents, beds always have hair on them, baths always have hair in them. Food under beds. The last time they said it was done and they made the top bed blankets over pee and hair. I stripped it myself and made it again. I cleaned the bath out. I didn’t last long in it as the hot water ran out. I’m allergic to mold so that is a big one for me. Sadly the holiday inn isn’t much better so you have to pick and choose as these are the only “decent” hotels in town.

This is a great place to stay! Large clean rooms and lovely hot pool, great breakfast and very good service. We stay there every year when we go to Ashland. The quality is consistent and reliable. A nice fitness room too. Great for pets also. We have never been disappointed in all the years we have stayed there. Sometimes problems have arisen, as with all hotel stays, but they always take care of them promptly. I love this place!

It's a 3-star travelers hotel. That's what I expected and the place met all my expectations. Things to note- 1 - It's a pet-friendly hotel. 2 - There was easy parking for a small pickup truck towing a small trailer. 3 - The breakfast had a broad spectrum of choices. 4 - I'm not sure I've ever commented on the check-in experience at a hotel, but this one is worth noting - A guy named Ryan was managing the office. It was peak check-in time and the lobby was full of travelers. I watched Ryan do his thing. Somebody get that guy a cape. Clearly, he's a super-hero.

We've stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However the electrical outlets are old and plugs just fall out of them, plus the water pressure is terrible hot water makes a horrible sound in shower and there's barely enough water to shower. That being said we'll stay there again.
