I stayed at site 3, which had the best view of the bridge. This campground requires walking down a hill to get to your site, which can be a bit annoying if you need to grab something from your car. The requirement to leave your confirmation email on your dashboard bothered me a bit. There was enough information on the confirmation page that it would help those passing through with ill-intent to steal from me or harm me, so I was a bit creeped out at having that information so readily available for strangers. I don’t particularly want to advertise that I’m a woman camping alone or how long I will be camping, for example. It would be better if I could provide my license plate number during registration instead.

Great secluded campground with tons of hiking options nearby! Note that this area can get extremely windy, and temperatures can be much lower than expected due to ocean proximity. Highly recommend bringing extra layers for warmth if camping.
So lucky to nab this place. Small campground with only three campsites, so would be perfect to rent all three sites for a group camping trip. No fires allowed, but there is a cooking grillThat you could have a small fire in. The view of San Francisco is only visible from campsite number 3,through a peek through the trees. It would be nice if the trees were trimmed back a little to get a better view, but I guess that they help keep the wind out of the campground. A lot of nice hiking trails nearby including the lovely point Bonita lighthouse.
Just visited this gem over the weekend. Had the whole place to ourselves, great little den positioned in the mountain so the never hits hard. Great for camping and staying warm! Plus tons of trails to different view points of SanFrancisco Bay!
