Discover Big Arm State Park, a scenic destination located at 28031 Big Arm State Park Rd, Big Arm, MT 59910, USA. For inquiries, you can contact them at (406) 752-5501 or mobile phone +1 406-752-5501. While primarily known as a tourist attraction offering access to the beautiful Flathead Lake, Big Arm State Park also provides opportunities for camping and RV stays, fitting into the Campgrounds & RV Parks category for those looking to immerse themselves in nature.

Nestled right on the water, Big Arm State Park is described by visitors as a "fun little place to camp." Its prime location offers a waterfront experience, allowing campers to enjoy the lake and its surroundings directly from their campsites. The park is also noted for its abundance of wildlife, providing nature enthusiasts with opportunities for observation and photography.

The park features nice trails that lead directly to Flathead Lake, perfect for leisurely strolls and enjoying the scenic beauty of the area. Visitors have also mentioned that there is plenty of parking available, making it convenient for those arriving with vehicles and RVs.

It's important to note that the availability of certain facilities may vary depending on the season. According to a recent review, the regular bathrooms with flush toilets and showers were closed and locked around the first week of October for the winter off-season. However, pit toilets were available for use during this time. Campers planning to visit during the off-season should be prepared for these limited facilities and are advised to pay the daily fee via the "iron ranger" system.

Big Arm State Park aims to be inclusive, with at least one "really nice wheelchair site" available, indicating accessible camping options for visitors with mobility needs.

Please be aware that the daily fee for camping can vary based on factors such as the state or region where taxes are paid, as well as the age or military status of the visitor. It is recommended to inquire about the specific fees applicable to your situation when planning your visit, especially during the peak season when more services are likely available.

In summary, Big Arm State Park offers a picturesque camping experience directly on the shores of Flathead Lake, with opportunities for wildlife viewing and enjoying nature trails. While it provides essential amenities, visitors should be aware of potential seasonal closures of certain facilities. Its accessible campsite and convenient parking make it a welcoming destination for a variety of campers. Contact the park directly for the most current information on fees, services, and any potential promotional information for camping and RV stays.

Fun little place to camp right on the water. The regular bathrooms, flush toilets, showers were closed and locked around 1st week of October for winter off-season. Pit toilets were available. The daily fee depends on what taxes you pay where and, age or military. Pay the iron ranger in off season. There was one really nice wheelchair site. Lots of wildlife.

Parked my rig 15 feet from the lake, dragged the kayak over, and paddled out. It's never been so easy. Camping right at the clean, clear water edge. Clean vault toilets and friendly, helpful host. Beautiful all around.

Great campground. Very clean park and amenities were all clean and nice. My campsite was pretty unlevel, and it was tricky finding a flat spot for my tent, but definitely not impossible. I felt like the campsites were well spaced and not on top of each other. At the spot I picked (A16) you drove into your spot, then had three large stone steps to step down to get to the actual campsite, not a huge deal for me as I’m able bodied but something to be aware of. I had a nice secluded area on the water in front of my campsite that was bordered by bushes/trees so that was nice to have The little free library was such a great find too!
