Check in was quick and easy, the young man that helped us was very kind. The room was absolutely lovely and we had gotten the room with a lake view. It came with a jetted tub, and a gas operated fireplace. The rest of the staff that we had encountered through out our stay were very friendly and kind. We were a few minutes from the village, and less than 20 minutes from Bear Mountain. We enjoyed our stay here and we definitely plan on coming back in the future!

Will never stay here. We paid $29.88 for "early check-in." Arrived at 1:30pm, only to be told the room wasn't ready. We finally checked in around 2:45pm--which is not early check-in. Then we saw the room. Filthy and unsanitary. Maxi pad wrapper in the toilet. Dirty floors. Red finger prints on the curtains. Hair and other debris on the bed comforter. We stayed two minutes and returned to the front desk. I told the front desk clerk we wouldn't be staying and returned the room key. Of course, he said "their policy is no refunds."

5 stars to Thomas for helping me with a smooth check in and all the support I needed during my stay. The hotel is great! Close to the main tourist attractions, supermarket, wonderful view from the lake, nice staff, clean and comfortable room. I highly suggest that you stay here! Louie also deserves a 5 stars for his kindness and his laugh!

My dogs and I went to stay at this hotel for a 5 day promotion they were running and I have to say I’m impressed with the new general manager & the improvements he is implementing at this lakeside hotel. Our room was very clean & newly updated. Also the internet was fast which is much appreciated. I loved sitting in front of the fireplace since it was a stormy chilly week. Sitting out on the balcony with my morning coffee was also a joy. The staff was friendly & helpful. The beach was clean & we enjoyed waking around the courtyard area as well. This hotel is also more dog friendly than other “dog friendly” hotels we have stayed at which is very important to me. We really enjoyed our stay & look forward to future stays!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon checking in, the room was in unacceptable condition. The previous guest’s bedsheets were left strewn about, there was trash in the room, and the bathroom was filthy. We had to immediately call for housekeeping to clean the room and replace the bedsheets and towels. Unfortunately, things only got worse. At night, we encountered roaches—two in the bathroom and one near the microwave. Adding to the discomfort, my children started itching as soon as they got into bed, and we all developed a rash. This made it impossible for us to sleep, and we ultimately decided to check out as soon as possible. While the surrounding area is nice, the hotel itself is poorly maintained and unhygienic. I strongly advise against booking here. It was an awful experience for my family, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
