Big Bear Lodge

This place was great location, 5 minutes to the main boulevard, yet quiet. Excellent views from balcony. Interior was fantastic with walk in shower, Jacuzzi type tub, & very nice fake fire place. Kitchen had everything needed, can't say enough about the room & the property manager, Stacy was always available & very helpful. Located on hill, so if it were to snow?? We will definitely be back!!!

We stayed in one of the vacasa cabins in front of the lodge. If you are looking for super close to the main attraction of pigeon forge and that's it, this is your place. There was some creative photography with our unit. It looked like it had a great view and lots of space. It did not. It looked like the private hot tub was glassed in on the porch. It was not. So, we weren't able to use the hot tub even if it had been working, which it was not. The neighbors porch was glassed, not ours. Also the gas fireplace wasn't working and missing the glass in front of it. Luckily the heat was fine. But the cabin was VERY small. 1 chair facing the TV the couch was facing away from it, so to watch you had to sit or lay sideways to watch TV. That meant only space for 2 seats for tv watching. All in all it wasn't bad but the closed up nature of these cabins because they are small and stacked and lacking amenities forced us to go out in town where we would liked to have stayed in and taken in the view more. Let's not forget to mention we were not told it's really a duplex cabin with a sharing wall which we NEVER would have booked

Great location! I think our family had just as much fun playing pool, the hot tub, and hanging out at the cabin as we did enjoying the shows and shopping in Gatlinburg!

The cabin's overall condition was acceptable, but the absence of heat in the lower bedrooms was a significant drawback. I reported the issue to the management team multiple times and was told that someone would be dispatched to resolve the problem. However, despite the technician's visit, the issue remained unresolved. Consequently, we experienced two nights without heat and the hot tub was inoperable. We will not be returning to Bear Camp group in the future.

Stayed in a airbnb listed cabin here. The cabin itself looked clean, but it’s very clear the cleaning crew isn’t doing their job. Jetted bath tub had tons of black dirt coming out from the jets, hot tub not serviced properly, cleaning crew upstairs emptied an entire dirty hot tub of water on top of us on the patio AND someone broke into our car. I don’t recommend this lodge/resort.
