First time camping in Oregon and found Big Buck by mistake but a good one !! Family loved it and dogs were in heaven! Grounds were fabulous, restrooms were cleaned very nice I would recommend
This place is absolutely drop dead gorgeous so quiet and so clean looking forward to going back
Great site! Very pretty area, well-maintained vault toilets, and it feels very safe and secure. As other reviews have noted, there is no cell service around most of the campgrounds, but I was able to connect a few minutes back up the road. Giving it four stars because the roads are a bit confusing and rough with little signage. I was able to get there OK in my Honda Civic but I got stuck in a pothole going up a hill and I had to back up and then really rev my engine to get past the area.
Nice campsite up in the mountains free at the time. They will be charging soon. Very small. I was in there with 19 ft trailer and a full-size crew cab very tight. Took a few very slow backing up so I wouldn't go for anything longer than a 20-ft RV. If you're towing a trailer probably no longer than 10. Borrow what
This is a nice camping location. The sites are cleared but have plenty of shade overhead. I don't like the plots being close enough to see and hear other groups. For family camping, it's great. The creek is a fairly easy walking distance away, although I don't see much for fishing without taking a walk down the creek. I like that it's clean and not too far out into the bush. I didn't have cell service which is kind of nice getting away from phone!
