Beautiful location. Friendly people. Owner is great guy. Giant Catfish and Bass in the ponds. Regularly see blue heron and ducks. The RV residence care about presentation and the ground. If you are tent camping bring water.

I don't know if the place has rooms, but I visited during the daytime. It was very quiet everyone was polite, the location is fairly small and intimate so there's no huge groups at least none that I saw. And the camping spots are very spacious, and have electricity

Stopped for a couple nights on our trip back north. Had a great sight just off the lake. Very peaceful, good utilities, staff was working the entire time we were there on improvements/maintenance. They really seem to care about the place. We would definitely stay here again. UPDATE: Based on our first good stay here, we decided to spend a month here. Our first surprise was an unpublished, unannounced FOUR HUNDRED DOLLAR "Activity Fee". On top of that, they charged us for electricity - REALLY, MORE, after bilking us out of $400??? What should have been a reasonable $26/night for the month unexpectedly ballooned to over $49/night - just about DOUBLE what we expected to pay. It's a nice enough campground, but the hidden charges really makes this place seem sketchy. DO NOT BELIEVE THE RATES ON THEIR WEBSITE. We have learned our lesson and will never stay here again.
