Although it’s not the biggest or the best in Wisconsin, this is still a great state park that offers campsites, up to roughly ten miles of trails, playgrounds, shelters and plenty of birdwatching. My visit comprised of predominately trail usage in the off-season (week after Labor Day) and the park was completely empty on a Thursday morning. I saw a few deer, many birds, and enjoyed a little nature during a trail run. Unfortunately, there’s a good amount of road and town noise while in the park as it’s backed up to a school and a popular beach area. Typical Wisconsin state park fees apply - daily or annual passes required for vehicles.

I had an unforgettable first-time camping experience! I decided to give it a try for just $15 a night, and I'm so glad I did. The campground was incredibly serene and well-maintained. The site I picked was lovely - it had grass and was much better than the other sites. Despite a slight slope, I preferred dealing with that over having to pitch a tent on dirt. Tents were our choice for this trip, and I enjoyed it!

Did a drive through, I’m staying here in August. It was a busy weekend, the sites look smaller than I anticipated, haven’t been back in about 25 years. The bathrooms are updated and clean. Overall great vibes, attendant was very helpful and friendly. I’m looking forward to my camping trip. Update: August camping trip was a success. The weather cooperated with no rain just plenty of hot sunny summer days. The campsite was bigger than I thought it was and we had plenty of room for everything. Lake Geneva beach was fun, short beach area, but enough for the kiddos to play in the sand, rocky bottom so water shoes are recommended. Very clean water even though there were a lot of boats. The state park had Very clean bathrooms and individual shower rooms. They keep this place very clean. Roads are very narrow for large RVs coming in. Good weekend! I will be going back.

$11 to park. There are State Park staff at the entrance to collect the parking fee. There’s also a kiosk to pay. Access is available to the lake shore path. The path at this juncture is right along the roadway so be wary of passing vehicles. They pass right next to you as you walk. There are also 5 paths within the park away from the lake that take you behind the nearby mansions. Picnic tables and restroom facilities available.
