Customer Reviews
This is not a place to reserve for tent camping, the RV’s tenants live there long term. Came to camp in a tent and relax and fish with our two young kids, but quickly became overwhelmed with 8 other kids that live there. Sweet kids, but no knowledge of boundaries for strangers campsites, I mean, they are kids! After several of them borrowing our rods, using all our worms, asking to use our lures, and even asking for snacks and still no parents 4 hours later, we decided to pack up and head home. We didn’t expect to be all by ourselves at a camp grounds, we figured there would be other kids too, but we definitely weren’t expecting to have 8 kids that aren’t ours with no other adults in view for hours on end. We didn’t leave just out of frustration, we also left due to the possible safety risk of being distracted from our own kids with bodies of water nearby. Sweet kids, I hope their parents check on them eventually.
We have been here since late July 2022. Love the owner and the manager Nathan! Very kid and pet friendly. Love the peace and quiet. They have so many new things since we first got here. Tables outside at each spot. 2 ponds plus a new kids treehouse coming soon. They add new spots each month! Would recommend to anyone!
Very nice! It is back off the road, has plenty of room for my dog to run, usually to the stocked pond I am anxious to have time to enjoy. Sturdy picnic tables at each site with fire rings to enjoy those fall campfires that I am also ready to enjoy when the burn ban is lifted. The Owner seems very friendly and helpful, as well as his on site maintenance personnel.
This place has awesome potential to be a destination campground. Our weeks stay was awesome. No complaints. It is under development. Once the planned service are up & running. Id love to try em out again.
One night stop on the way out west. Accommodated us a little late into the evening (9 PM). Called ahead and was told to find a spot and worry about payment in the morning. Arrived at the campground and a lovely young man hooked us up with a fire pit and wood. Nice, level gravel pads. Dogs loved walking around exploring. All staff very friendly.
