Really fun campground. Good amount of spaces but during the summer arrive earlier in the day, even on weekdays. A couple beautiful spots w views of lagoon, and a couple really private ones surrounded by brambles. Good for tents, van camping, or RV’s. Some hookups available for $10 extra but limited spots for that. $30 fee and $10 for extra vehicle. The camp host Dude is a really nice guy and sells cheap firewood.

Great first come first serve campground. We arrived early on Wednesday before the long weekend and 'Dude', the congenial camp host directed us to the open premier spot, #25! Great beachfront spot with a stunning vista. The campground is lovely overall with hot showers for $1 in quarters and clean restrooms. Dude is super. Very friendly and helpful all around. He also carves and fabricates unique and interesting stringed musical instruments from driftwood that he sells on the side to fund his vacation account. Park is super dog friendly. Our retriever was doing laps in the lagoon multiple times a day. Right now there is a breach in the jetty so you have to be aware of the jellyfish that are washing in from the open ocean and avoid them.

Camp was located in a nice area in the trees with great views and the sound of the ocean. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper. Fire pit was available at every site. Bench at every site. Payment is cash and an envelope. Showers do not work at all. $1 for 5 min, quarter for every additional. There was a second shower, but for some reason it was locked and reserved for the camp host only. Pretty annoyed that I lost my money. Glad I didn't strip down in the cold just to find out the shower wasn't working. Camp host was nowhere in sight. He put a sign up saying "closed." It was 9am, so I thought maybe he'd make himself somewhat available. There are signs pointing to $5 bundles of firewood, but when you follow them (into a neighborhood), there is just a guy that glares at you from a window from inside. The site is very basic, but it's still a beautiful area. I'm just bitter about the shower.

Amazing place to camp. The camp host was a rad dude. Very kind man. The camp fee was $30 and the day park was $10. Don't swim here because the tides are gnarly... At least for us. And for kids. The beach was beautiful and clean. The parking was great as well. They had bathrooms but no showers. There's gas station a few miles away as well as a cafe and a coffee shop. Nice little town nearby. And they were all friendly. It was warm enough that we didn't use a tent. Thought it'd be nice to sleep under the start so to speak. Great place.

This camp is run by one of the nicest people I’ve ever met on my travels - a man named “Dude.” Anything you need, the dude will abide. Our camp spot was right next to the lagoon and we had amazing views of the sunset. In the early morning, we walked over to the beach and hunted for agate and moonstone. Overall, a wonderful experience staying here, and we can’t recommend visiting enough. Thank you so much, Dude, for all of your kindness! We will pay it forward!
