The campground was clean and spacious. There were a lot of open campsites for mid-week during the summer. Several campsites backed up to a slope with great views of the surrounding canyon. There is a stream nearby that provides hiking opportunities.
Lovely site, right off Highway 4. There's a small creek that winds through the campground. Only drawback is that there's not really any place to fish or swim properly close by. You've got to hike or drive.
It was so nice and quiet, the smell of all the trees was so refreshing. I even seen a hummingbird this time. The camp host and his dog Zeke are very pleasant as well. We go atleast 2 times a year and will continue to go back.
Was able to snag a site on a weekend summer Saturday afternoon so no complaints. Beautiful site the only downside is the road noise near half of the sites.
Very nice, place to camp went there with family over the week,it was very fun.yhe little stream was nice and refreshing for the kids to play in,also caught a couple of trout!!bring mosquito spray, very satisfying overall!!
