A great place to stay in the White Mountains. The campsite was quiet and well kept. The outhouses were clean, and the staff were nice and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again!

Place is great! As all of the white mountains are. The one complaint id have is the man who “takes care” of these camp sites is a complete nuisance and likes to tell you all the “rules” of the woods. Treats it as his own property and it was nothing like staying at Hancock. If you can, avoid the grumpy troll. If not, ignore him. deciding to do leaf blowing against your tent mid day with animals was a problem for us. Buddy has no reason to be at our peaceful state parks.

I was very happy here. Campsite 11 Cons- near toilet , squeaky door, slight odor, bring WD40 😳 Pros- near toilet - 32 paces from door 11 is far away from main road. It was very quiet. Clean, easy drive to Loon Mtn. Nice long, drive in tent site. Restroom very basic, clean. Just a toilet. Fire box and picnic table.

Absolutely loved my experience here. Very clean and maintained. Sites are spread out from each other. In a perfect spot on the Kanc where you can really get anywhere you need without issue. I would plan a month in advance to reserve the spot because they go quick!

Amazingly clean well-managed wooded site campground with water and privies and very reasonably priced. The nearby river is a great resource and while the Kancamangus Highway is nearby, it is very quiet after dark when you are enjoying supper at a picnic table with a fire ring, enjoying the great outdoors. It's a beautiful place. Enjoy it.
