Big Sandy and Little Sandy are about a mile before the entrance to Yosemite. It is about a 5 mile dirt road with only a couple places to let cars pass if you scared of hair Cliff I suggest you not take this road we went up in the truck and overhead camper I would suggest if you're not a very good driver don't drive this route it is very beautiful and quiet we only saw a couple people come and go while we were there if you like peace and tranquility this is the place to go
Great hidden Gem next to Yosemite, the best camp site I have been to (with bathroom).
Very quiet campground with a beautiful creek running through it.
Really cool place to camp 👌. A nice waterfall not to far
Nice campground if you can't get something in Yosemite. However, don't be fooled, it's not convenient to get to. It took us about 45 minutes to drive the 5 mile dirt "road" to get in. So if you're looking for a campground to be a good base to do other things in the area, I don't think it's a good idea. Also, it is a bit pricey at $22 a night.
