This was a great open campground.. nothing fancy, but perfect for us. It was COMPLETELY empty of campers, only 1 person fishing and they left before dusk. We saw wild horses and antelopes and heard many other animals. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful, and the bathrooms were clean and stocked. We will definitely come back.. note: Since it is a lake, bugs do come out at Dusk and Dawn. Where we were at the picnic table was broken, looked to be when the water was up. We had tables and chairs ao wasnt a big deal. We used rooftop tents, so I'm not sure how it would be for ground, there are a lot of rocks and definitely not very flat.
I wish they could have made some flat spots for tent camping.
West campground is better as there is no shade on the east side.
Nice view of the mountains. Restrooms and campground areas nice and clean
