It has been awhile since I came here. This place is just as beautiful as I remember it. I .ust say it has a very winding road to get to the visitors center. There are a lot of artifacts on the visitors center walls and a very nice fireplace. I think it would have been better if I had came here in the other seasons rather than winter. Small gift shop and a movie who can ask for more?
The park is clean and pretty but far from stunning and spectacular. A few nice views and sites but not really worth the trip. Closer to a nice state park but far from national Park. Overall trail signage is poor
Amazing and beautiful area. Backpacked for 3 days around the John Litton Farm Loop - Falls River trail - John Muir trail - Then back West and south for a round trip of about 22 miles. On our second day we found a traveler's respite: the Charit Creek Lodge and the staff were so kind and hospitable. Our trip was during the end of September beginning of August, and it was fairly wet. Be careful when crossing wooden bridges as they get pretty slippery from all the moisture and fallen leaves. There were incredible views going up the John Muir trail and the Twin Arches were a beautiful sight. The many rivers cutting valleys through the mountains lead to a fairly demanding hike with lots of elevation gain and loss.
Good clean hiking trails. The storm earlier this year knocked how a lot of trees, however, park employees did a great job at clearing the trails. Enjoyed hiking to the Needle Arch and waterfalls.
had so much fun camping here with my friends. horses everywhere and a town super close which just added to the charm. would love to come back!
