Been coming here for a few years now, always been pleasant (but hot this last time) Cocoa's back, looking well..other campers here, and #6 doesn't have the privacy I had at #3 but has better late day shade

Nondescript little free campground. Pretty clean pit toilet. Closest free campground to the Catwalk. It's very close to the Catwalk. When I stayed, javelinas came out when the sun went down. They came for the trash someone left in the firepit. They wanted the black bananas. I got in my van and closed the doors. I don't mess with javelinas.

Easy to get to if you are pulling a trailer. Right off the highway. Only 6 sites with a fire pit and table. Get there early, we were lucky to get a site. The bathroom was clean, single toilet, vault style. Very popular with the Catwalk being near as well as several other trailheads. Just outside of Glenwood.

Great free campsites. I think there are 6. We stayed in 2 which was good for our 32 ft trailer. Nice trees for shade next to a dry creekside and many birds to watch and hear. Saw deer too. Will come back whenever in this area. Lots to do with the Cat Walk and Mogollon ghost town.

Nice low key campsite right off the road. Only six sites, currently here on a Wednesday and it’s full. Level campsites and one vault toilet. Even though it’s close to the road the road is pretty quiet at night. Don’t forget to look up after dark. The Milky Way was visible out here before 9pm. Beautiful.
