I’ve RVd a lot over the years, and Highland is a hidden gem. If you’re ever fortunate enough to be in Bishop Ca, and need or just want a great spot to stay, then stay here. Very clean, park Very well maintained, your close enough to everything in town, but further away from the Downtown traffic. You don’t have to worry about some kid driving a sand rail, Razor or 4 wheel something, like at the South end of town campgrounds. (I’ve stayed there too) This place is quiet and relaxing. The couple running it, are the friendliest, most accommodating front desk people you will Ever run into. They actually have GREAT customer service. Unlike those other campgrounds where the most unpleasant people in the neighborhood must work. If you’ve traveled, you get that statement 😂.
Highlands is a great RV park. The staff, April & Rick are friendly, helpful and ready to help. The facilities include bathrooms, showers, dog park, propane tank filling and a laundry room and social center. All the amenities arr clean and serviced daily. Pull through spaces for your RV and spaces can accommodate the largest RV's. Set in the center of Bishop with easy and quick access to grocery stores, fuel stations and other shopping.
I really like this RV park. The person at the front desk was very nice, the location is great and the park is very quiet at night. I was also very fortunate to have great neighbors during my stay. I stayed at this park so I could ride some sections of the California Backcountry Discovery Route on my motorcycle. I'm looking forward to staying here again and doing more riding around Bishop.
It was an overnight and we stayed here several years ago. It's easy to find, friendly staff who are very willing to help. The facilities are clean and easy to find. Will stay here again!
Place was clean, but cramped. Our 37 foot trailer with slides barely fit with another big rig next to us (We overhung onto their pad and had to partially retract). There were facilities but somehow the info available from self checkin didn't include the code to take a shower, would have loved to be able to take a full shower rather than what we had available in our RV. We did call the "after hours" number in the paperwork but no one answered. Honestly I would stay again but I would call ahead to try to book a site larger to accommodate the slides and would make sure our paperwork has the shower code.
