Great price and lots of space in the field. We have stayed here twice now and love having our own space out in the field. They do have full hookup sites that are harder to reserve but the field is always open and has water and electricity. They have bathrooms and showers too that are nice and clean and have lots of hot water. It’s walking distance to main street and even closer to Schat’s Bakery! They do not allow tent camping however which is important to know. Some incredible views of the Sierras too.
Mule Days is awesome! Rich in history and entertainment. I came with the One Spade Youth Packers and they are such an amazing group. The campground was nice, bathrooms were clean. The backdrop of the snowcapped mountains beyond the arena was gorgeous! I look forward to coming here again.
I love it here. Im a travel nurse and NO WHERE else had long term sites available. They are so accommodating and I love how close everything is. I also love having access to the fairgrounds. Price is amazing, and all utilities included. I want to stay here forever! Oh and I do have great neighbors. Very close sites, but my 39ft fiver and my car fits, gotta park my truck in the parking lot tho. Its safe and I can see it from my couch, so its ok. Me and my two lil pups give it a 10 out of 10! Only thing lacking is laundry, but there is one in town, so I'll live, lol.
We recently stayed here on a family RV camping trip. Prior to arrival Kim, the camp host, sent a text with our space number and bathroom code and other pertinent information. We arrived and got settled in, inquired about checking in and it was settled through text—very easy. The camp itself is definitely on the fair grounds…but since it was off season the area wasn’t too crowded. The bathrooms were right across from us making accessible trips convenient—and they were immaculately clean which was a relief. The area was quiet as guests respected the courtesy rules. The ONLY bad thing I could say was right next to us the morning after our first night was loud grounds work—where a tractor was clearing the lot next to us—then the fire department came with a work crew popped out—a sea of orange jumpsuits that had Correction Prisoners highlighted on their backs. At first it was off putting and if I had younger children it would’ve been more uneasy. But, they all remained professional—and apart from the few hours of annoying equipment noise so close (literally next door) or the moment the operator hit the fence startled us, as it was close to the RV (no damage on our end)—and with regard to the prisoners—it was just an odd thing to see let alone be so incredibly close too. But again, they were very professional and ultimately posed no threat. More positives: it’s very close to Main St., we had bikes and it was a quick ride to get through town to explore, shop, and eat. Unfortunately, due to an emergent family matter we had to cut our trip short…by a few days; we were only there one night and messaged Kim that we had to leave. Kim mentioned she would try to get us a refund—Not expecting a refund whatsoever, because this was totally on us—I just checked my card and there was a refund issued for the time not used—I’m certain this was due to a deciding factors (case by case basis)…but this surprise is very appreciated. The area is beautiful and townsfolk welcoming super nice to talk to. Great shops and restaurants, just a beautiful town! Our experience on the grounds and with Kim, overall positively impressionable and in the future a place we’d highly recommend.
Partial hook-ups at a good price for a night's stay. Staff texted us prior to arrival and upon arrival. Would definitely stay again if passing through.
