Beautiful campgrounds. I camped in a “primitive” campground but short walk to the campsite including water/bathrooms. Very clean. Beautiful views of the lake. Peaceful. Showers with hot water on the campgrounds. Beautiful trails, friendly staff. Thank you for an awesome birthday. Will be visiting again.
Very clean and sites are nicely laid out. No RVs allowed. There are just a couple of spots to use a pop up tent trailer. Most of the campsites are park and walk a short path to the campsite so would be difficult to camp in a car. Fun and flowy mountain bike trail encircling the campground is very beginner friendly (approximately 3 miles of trail in campground). The bathouse has individual potty/sink/showers and there are 6 of them total for the campground. There was a vault toilet located near our site with 2 potty rooms and it was super clean.
Amazing place. I was tue only person there pretty much but I just got lucky. Everything is new and maintained. Loved everything but the gnats. That was my only issue. They love to swarm around your face. Other than that it was excellent.
We spent a wonderful weekend tent camping here. The sites were spacious & clean. The firepit was clean & they all have an adjustable grill top. The bathhouse has nice hot showers, with outlets. Check in & out process was seamless. My boys loved the fishing pier and caught quite a few. Already planning our next trip!!
Found this place last minute, and the staff were so kind helping us get set up. They showed us their favorite site and made sure we knew where everything was, even though it was almost 10pm. We had an outstanding stay and will be back again. My friend also left some paperwork on accident, and they found it and kindly mailed it back to her. 10/10, great camping experience and great customer service.
Without question, the nicest campground I've visited on my extended camping tour. The facilities are stellar and the staff was pleasant and very helpful. The tent sites are very nice and there are cabins available as well. The cabins are a great bargain and provided a nice break after living in a tent for a few weeks. There's a nice network of trails surrounding the site, and Lake James is just a short walk away. Highly recommended!
What a nice little camp. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The campgrounds were clean. The campsites had ample space and were not right on top of your neighbors (although some are close to the road/parking lot). I will plan to come back again.
