Customer Reviews
I had a great stay. I didn't want to stay in Bangor surrounded by strip malls. This location has a lot of space and grass outside for a dog. It's right next to I-95, so unfortunately I did hear traffic at night. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Coffee, tea, and water in the room and a mini fridge. There is daily soup. There was broccoli cheddar when I arrived and beef chili when I left. Really nice touch. There's good coffee available with syrups. If I stayed longer I would have used the exercise room. I would definitely stay again. The only downside was the interstate.
We stayed here for Snowcon. It had a great room and the bed was more comfortable than more expensive rooms we have stayed at. It was clean and had coffee and water in the room. Breakfast had almond milk, but I wish they had more protein options to eat. They have complementary hot beverages in the lobby if needed. There is no restaurant, but many are nearby. Also, they have a water bubbler available in the hallway and ice machines on every floor. My biggest problems were the tiny breakfast room that had 5 closely packed tables in it and room for maybe two people to get food at a time. I also hope next year to ask if they have a quiet floor. Kids were running down the hall in and out of rooms until 1 am. We were on the 3rd floor. This was more of a parenting problem, though, but it still made it hard to go to sleep. It would be nice to have that option. Really cool bathroom in the lobby though. I included a picture. All the women loved it when we were in there.
Front desk was accommodating and pleasant. The room was clean and orderly, although the bathroom door handle was coming loose on the inside of the door, and the rooms a the rear of the hotel back up on the interstate noise. My only real issue was the "breakfast" room, which was extremely small and appeared that at least a portion of it had been a storage closet. The dining area was extremely small and folks were crammed in like sardines. NO HOT BREAKFAST ITEMS. I had an English muffin, because nothing else was what I considered edible. It was an okay stay, just don't expect much out of the "breakfast".
Well maintained and very clean rooms. Bedding was very comfortable. Only downside was the hallway acoustics.. every door noise was heard.
One of the best hotels we've stayed at recently. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Wish they had a larger seating area for breakfast though. It was nice having a soup bar available when we checked in last night. Only issues were the AC unit was very loud and the fan in the bathroom wasn't working (rm 319). That won't stop us from returning to this hotel. Thank you for the great stay.
