We stayed in the Northstar cabin for our anniversary last weekend. We absolutely loved the cabin and the amenities! The cabin was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking dinner in the kitchen and relaxing on the porch with a gorgeous view! We also took advantage of the warm weather and swam in the beautiful pool! We loved the location…it feels like you are out in the country but really you are 5 minutes from town. We will absolutely stay here again!
Loved the Black Canyon in Wimberley! I was able to stay at two different cabins and both were great. They have everything you can need there, with really pretty views, peaceful surroundings, and extremely close to all the restaurants and shops. Definitely staying here again.
We had a very nice stay at Black Canyon, and would recommend. Pros: The owner/manager was quickly responsive to each of my emails/inquiries. The park is very nice, clean, well-maintained and quiet. It is super close to the square, restaurants, grocery store and laundry mat. Even though you're not in a "state park" type setting (but more like a parking lot), we were pleased to see quite a few deer and a roadrunner right from our camp site! The area is nice and dark so it's perfect for star gazing at night. Cons: Though they provide free WiFi, it is very spotty. Also, the pool and clubhouse are not within a short walking distance of the camp sites.
We had a great time staying in a cabin at Black Canyon! Everything was nice and clean! The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable! The view was amazing! They had all the amenities we needed! We would definitely stay there again!
Was able to arrange a last minute stay with Sally and delight my wife with this little spot. Had a great last night in Texas, only wish we had more time to explore the area.
